Using PrairieCat

This module covers how to use PrairieCat, the primary BHC QC Campus Library catalog. The catalog includes library materials from a consortium of libraries in northern Illinois.

When you have completed this module you should be able to:

  • recognize that PrairieCat contains more than books
  • find books on a topic using a keyword search
  • find books by title, author, or subject heading
  • identify the location of books
  • read a call number and use it to find items in the library
