Want to be a mentor?
New Faculty Mentoring at Black Hawk College

Hi, I'm Torria Norman, Black Hawk College's facilitator for the mentoring program. All new full-time faculty members at Black Hawk College are provided with a mentor to assist them in getting to know all there is to know about the college and its procedures and policies. Of course, a large part of the program is making new friends too! Welcome to Black Hawk College!

As a mentee, you meet six times a semester with your mentor, a full-time faculty member in a department other than your own. In addition, the current mentor/mentee group gathers for some group activities too, so that you can get to know each other better, see something new at the college or in the community, and have fun as well! For further information, feel free to contact the Mentoring Program Facilitator, Torria Norman.
