How to Enroll Apply for admission
Black Hawk College has an open admission policy however, you may not always be admitted to the program of your choice). You must have a high school diploma or GED to be admitted to the college.
Placement tests, orientation and advising
You need to take the ASSET test and attend orientation if you enroll or accumulate six credit hours or more. Click here for more information on when the tests are offered. Email an advisor or call 309-796-5100 to schedule an appointment.
Registration
Request that your official high school or GED transcript gets sent to the appropriate campus.
Financing your education
Black Hawk College offers a variety of awards, scholarships, work-study, and financial aid options. In order to be considered for financial aid, you need to complete the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can find more information at the FAFSA web site at www.fafsa.ed.gov/index.htm .
