Speakers Bureau

Black Hawk College is proud to present the 2004-2005 edition of the Black Hawk College Speakers Bureau booklet. The Black Hawk College Speakers Bureau was created to provide area organizations with interesting and entertaining talks on a variety of subjects.

The speakers are employees or retirees of Black Hawk College and come from departments and disciplines across the college. Each presentation listed in this booklet includes the speaker's name and title, the age group(s) appropriate for the presentation and the approximate length of the program. Any special audiovisual needs also are noted.

Once you find a speaker that interests your organization, please call the Public Relations Office to make the arrangements. We can be reached at (309) 796-5051 or (800) 334-1311, Ext. 5051. Please allow at least four weeks to arrange a speaking engagement.

In order to schedule a speaker, we will need to know the following:

• Your organization's name and contact person
• Presentation date, time and location
• Speaker's name and topic desired
• Approximate audience size and age group
• Desired length of presentation
