I was born and raised here in Moline, Illinois. I attended Black Hawk College and graduated in 1987. I continued my education at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois where I received my Bachelors of Science in 1989 and my Master of Science in 1995. My main academic interests are evolution and aquatic ecology. I am interested in stream ecology and the biology of fishes in particular. I joined the faculty here at Black Hawk College in 1998 and I am very pleased to be back at Black Hawk. If I can be of service, please feel free to contact me.
