Keyword Search - Try it!
A keyword search is often a good way to begin a search.
Remember that a keyword search looks for items anywhere
in the record. It is the broadest search.
Search tips you can use in keyword searching are:
- The terms in the search box already have an “AND” between them. Just like in Google, the “AND” is there – you just don’t see it.
- Truncation - use an asterisk “*” to find variant endings of a word. For example, politic* will find politics, political, politician, etc.
- Use quotation marks to search for phrases. For example, “human rights”.
