Why use Web Info System

The college's Web Information System for Students is a new service that provides a convenient method for students to obtain information via the Web. The Web Info System allows students access to their academic and personal information to:
  • Change PIN (Personal Identification Number)
  • View Student Records and Personal Information (such as holds, past grades, unofficial academic transcript, name and social security number)
  • View Financial Aid Information (such as eligibility requirements and financial aid award information)
  • Perform Registration Activities (such as add or drop classes, check registration status, view class schedule, and view account balance with BHC)

If you are a new college-credit student or have not taken a college credit course within the last two years, you must first submit an Application for Admission.

When can Web Info System be accessed

The hours for using the Web Info System, under normal operating conditions, are:

Effective February 9, 2004 the new hours will be as follows.
7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. every day (Sunday through Saturday)

How to Move through the Web Info System

  • To scroll down, either use the down arrow of your keyboard or use the scroll bar on the right side of your screen.
  • At the top right corner of most of the web pages is a Help icon. Click on the red question mark for further explanation of the activity you are engaged in.
  • Remember to scroll to the bottom of each page to see all available buttons and links.
  • There is a 15-minute session inactivity time out. If you do not use the system for 15 minutes, you will receive an inactivity time out message and be prompted to re-enter your ID number and PIN to regain access to the system.

How to EXIT the Web Info System

  1. Use the EXIT icon at the top right corner of any Web Info System web page to go to the user Logout screen, and then click on Return to Homepage .
  2. Close your web browser when finished to further ensure the confidentiality of your information.

System Requirements

When accessing the BHC Web Registration and Information pages, it is best run with Netscape 4.00 or higher and Internet Explorer 4.00 or higher. Minimally, the browser must conform to HTML 2.0 standards and support HTML 3.0 tables. Some browsers may not permit users to print these pages. In this case users should select another browser type. Recommended screen resolution setting is 1024x768 or greater.

Cookies are used for security checks each time a web menu, procedure, or frameset is loaded. The cookies set are stored only in the browser's cache - they are not written to a file on the computer's hard drive. They are destroyed when the user closes the browser.
